I’m Jordan. Since I was little, I’ve been described as a jack-of-all-trades. I have a combined passion for athletics and performing arts, and I have always taken initiative to become better in every aspect of my life. After realizing some of my weaknesses in soccer, I trained every day, eventually becoming captain of my varsity team. I then went on to achieve back-to-back record-breaking seasons, earn first team all-conference accolades and make the Indiana East vs. West All-Star Team. I use this same tenacity and dedication in my performance work. While acting and performing in high school, I discovered a knack for film production. After winning Indiana Association of School Broadcaster’s First Place Entertainment Feature award, I decided to go college for broadcasting. This decision led me to Anderson University, where I studied dance and played collegiate soccer.
After a semester void of singing, dancing or any performing, I knew I had to get back on stage. Towards the end of my freshman year, I enrolled in my first dance class. Once my instructor saw my potential, he asked me to be in AU’s spring dance showcase, where my love of dance exploded in a very short amount of time. I stepped down from the soccer team my sophomore year to pursue a career in performing.
While at Anderson, I had the opportunity to perform in a variety of shows, including IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, RED HERRING, I LOVE A PIANO, SHE LOVES ME and finally the lead role of Beane, in LOVESONG. My performance as Beane earned me the 2013 Byrum Award for “Best Actor in a Lead Role.” I spent two full summers in college accumulating equity credits at The Barn Theatre in Augusta, Michigan. While performing at Michigan’s oldest professional equity summer stock theatre, I was able to nurture and perfect my diverse performance skills in fun, well-known shows such as LEGALLY BLONDE, WEDDING SINGER, SPAMALOT, ROCKY HORROR, SHREK, 42ND STREET, PETER PAN, TARZAN, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and even PAL JOEY, directed by Tony Award-winning producer Peter Schneider.
I graduated from Anderson University in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Business with minors in Non-Profit Leadership and Public Relations. Since college, I finished up another memorable season with The Barn Theatre and acted in the upcoming thriller CAWDOR starring Cary Elwes. I currently am choreographing and performing in the Indianapolis area. Thanks for visiting my website! Feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you! God Bless!
